OTM Zambia Holds BBS Hamartiology With OHS Kitwe Teens

On 16th September, Olivet High School (OHS) students joined the Thursday Bible study which was shared by Matthews, leader of Olivet Teen Mission (OTM) Zambia. He shared from the book of Romans 1:18-23 about hamartiology (the sin of unbelievers).

He shared that, "It's important to study first about sins in depth. Jesus said those who well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick need one. We cannot cure a sickness unless we know what the sickness is. For this reason, Paul wanted to speak first about sin before salvation."

"Paul began the main body of Romans with the wrath of God, and it's an important passage in the study of sin. Paul didn't talk about the God of love, but he talked about God's wrath. Paul explained what caused this wrath one by one logically and very systematically."

"He shared that because of ungodliness and unrighteousness, people suppress the truth by their wickedness. All sins start from not wanting to believe in God. If we try to resolve the unrighteous alone without resolving the ungodliness first, it's like catting the weed without pulling up the roots."

Matthews concluded by saying that "We need to love God and we need to give thanks to God in all circumstances. We should worship Him only no other God without Him under this earth."

May the teens grow beautifully under God's love and hand.
