Kitwe Gratia Church Retreat with Teens; "Justification, Sanctification and Glorification"

OHS held the teen's retreat, and intern Peter gave the message from Romans 5,6. According to what he shared that the benefits of justification are that we obtain peace with God that the world can't give us, and there are two types of peace which are worldly peace and peace with God.

The peace with God makes us be sure that we are truly saved by the grace of God through faith, and we don't fear to die anymore because we have true conviction to go to heaven. While the worldly peace is that we sword by sword, nuclear weapons by nuclear power. Not only that but we also have access by faith in Christ Jesus the hope of glory even if we face great persecution we have the confidence to rejoice in tribulations because we know that our suffering cannot be compared to the glory that shall reveal with Jesus Christ.

Jesus came to restore our relationship which was broken between man and God because of sin. While we were yet sinners and enemies of God, Christ died for us and he has reconciled us to Himself in which we obtained the ministry of reconciliation. Because of one man's sin, death entered the world and reigned from Adam to Moses even to us who didn't sin, for all have sinned this is known as the theory of representative or effectiveness of one Man. In the same way, God sent a second Adam (Jesus Christ) so that we can all be saved through Him.

Sanctification is the process of changing our status to be holy and perfect. This way we are transforming our lives by spiritual baptism and washing garments of saints. Glorification is the last stage of salvation; we are becoming the sons of God because we have the Holy Spirit as the witness which bears us the witness that we are saved, and we belong to God.
