Gratia Church Sunday Service: "Rise Up and Walk"

Kitwe Gratia church members and leaders gathered to hold service. The attendance was 12. Intern Pastor Peter shared the message from John 5:1-9.

He shared that many people around the world are sick physically, and spiritually. Some are blind, paralyzed, and lame. Which has caused them not to move from one place to another because of their conditions, they have no hope for their healing but are waiting for someone to heal them.

These illnesses might be applied to us if we fail to open our eyes to see Jesus as the healer. Lame is a condition where someone can't able to move freely. Spiritual lame is when someone cannot stand and pray to receive his blessings. Spiritual blind is when someone doesn't have the spiritual sense to know the plans that God has for him or her.

When Jesus appeared to this man He said, "Rise up and Walk". For us to move, we need the resurrection of the word of God in us due to insufficient God we lost our blessings. But the love of God is so awesome that He is looking for us so that we can be healed. We need to rise up and go in the world to preach the Gospel of Jesus so that we can build His Kingdom and save many souls for Christ.
